Today is Rachele's birthday. I would not have half of my sanity left if it wasn't for her. Rachele and I met maybe around 6 years ago and bonded fast and furiously. She is such an awesome person in every sense of the way. She and I have been through some very interesting times together and have been able to laugh about everything after the fact. I adore Rachele and can not wait for her and I to be old and gray and laughing at past memories. She has been a big part of my family and I can easily call her my sister and friend. I love you Rachele and hope you have a fabulous birthday. If you're lucky, I'll sing for you later. :) Have fun my friend!

Allow Myself To Introduce....Myself
So I apparently decided it was necessary to take a couple month hiatus from posting. I'm not going to lie - it was a nice break but I missed it. So here's a quick update on what we've been up to lately as well as several new posts below this one. My hope/goal is to update on a more frequent basis but we'll see. It's been a busy few months and it's only going to get busier. Hope everyone is well....
July
We had my dad's 60th surprise party and it went well and we had a blast. The weekend after that, we were in Chelan for a week and then back for my cousin Sean's graduation party. Oh yeah, before all of that, we had a bb-q at our place for the 4th. Cole's doing well but still not walking. Although we've learned that he loves being in the water.
August
We had my dad's 60th not surprise party. That was fun also. I may become a pro golfer by the way. We took Cole to the zoo for the first time and that was fun. He wasn't quite sure what to think but enjoyed being out and people watching. I got my two new tattoos that I've been talking about so I'm done for now. Steve also got quite a bit more work done - but it's not completely done yet - so no pictures until that happens. Cole is still not walking but he's saying mama, dada and kitty and then a bunch of other jiberish.
September
The month has just begun but it's been off to a good start. Cole is now walking and has cut two molars. I love him more every day. Still going strong with mama, dada and kitty and a bunch of other jiberish. We had another bb-q with some friends and it was really great to see everyone. I can't believe how big Mayzie, Ryann and Chloe are getting. Steve is making a career switch and starting this Monday, he's going to be starting a new job within the Linesman union. We're very excited and can't wait to see how his first day/week goes. We have some other fiestas coming up this month that I hope to post pictures for. Otherwise, I'm just running around like a chicken with my head cut off half the time.

First Haircut
Cole had his first haircut today. It killed me to cut it but it was driving me nuts. I think it was driving me more nuts than it was Cole. He absolutely hated getting his hair cut and wasn't having any of my dorky attempts at distraction. But it's all said and done now and he looks as handsome as ever.

I Can Walk Now
He took his sweet time - but he's up and on his feet now.

Chelanigans '09
Chelan was awesome although getting older and having Cole has taken it's toll on my attempts to enjoy adult time. It was really nice to get out of town for a bit and into some hot sunny weather. Cole had a blast and next year will be even more fun because he'll have a better idea of what is actually going on.

Cole's Baptism
We had Cole baptized back in June. Here are a few of the pics. He did well and was more than happy to arch his back and dip his head back in order to have the holy water poured over his forehead.
