Woe Is Me

First of all, does anyone but me and Amber watch Nip/Tuck? I'm pretty addicted to it and have been since season 1. However, I've got to say, I'm a little disappointed this season. The season just started in January and it's already going to be the season finale on Tuesday. Plus, a week was skipped. So total, 8 episodes. And, although, it's still crazy as ever, I can't help but think the series finale is coming soon.

Julia, Annie and Connor are NEVER on anymore. They killed off Portia De Rossi's character (Julia's lady lova). Matt no longer cooks meth in man made labs in a hotel room catching himself on fire. And he no longer has torrid affairs with transsexual women. He's all Mr. "I'm totally responsible and have a baby that I don't have custody of so I can't do stupid shit anymore to add crazy twists to the plot" guy. And now Christian has breast cancer and although they thought that he would be it, he didn't and now he's set to die so he's going to marry Lizzy the lesbian. And Kimber is just dumb now.

Although, the season finale hints that once she finds out about Christian, she gets a bit jealous and there's a bit of a cat fight between Lizzy the lesbian who is going to marry Christian and Kimber the dirty money grubbing whore. While I am intrigued, I still can't help but wonder what is going on with the series. If Christian dies, Julia and kids are gone to NY, Portia De Rossi's character is dead, Kimber is off doing porn and having Jenna model, and Matt is lame, that leaves Sean. And while Sean is great and all, there is NOOOOO way he's going to carry the show on his own.

I'm a little bit sad to think that my favorite show may actually be coming to an end. If anyone else watches this show, do you think the same? Granted, the showed previews for the season finale and didn't say series finale. But 8 episodes....? And killing everyone off? I believe I may cry come next week when I watch and they end up saying "series finale" (if that is the case). I wasn't prepared for this. I'm not ready to give up the drama, sex and plot twists quite yet. If this show ends, then I'm only one more show to go until it's 100% reality TV. I'm okay with that and all - but I don't know how many more Rock of Love Bus shows and Sober House episodes I can watch before I lose it and want to ring some one's neck for being such a moron. *sigh*

Although, I am REALLY pretty excited for the new season of The Hills.

9 Month Update

Before I get to the update - I have gone post crazy and below this one are 4 more for your reading/viewing pleasure. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

I took Cole in for his 9 month update. Technically he won't be 9 months until next week but whatever. Anyway, he weighs in at almost 19 lbs and is 27 inches. His lungs, ears, eyes are all looking great. The bad news - he has Croup. I'm not even sure if that's how it's spelled but we'll pretend. Cole started with a pretty nasty cough earlier this week and if we didn't have the appointment already scheduled for today, I would have made an appointment. It sounds like he's in so much pain. The doctor said keep doing what we've already been doing and give it a few days. If a fever starts then we'll take him in again. But so far, no fever. No ear infection and his lungs are fine. No shots today but they did prick his finger to get some blood for a blood count test. His next appt. is in May when he turns the big ONE! Other than the Croup, Cole is such a happy little guy. He has 4 teeth now and his hair is really getting thick. Steve is telling me that he's about ready for a haircut and I have to give him the evil eye and remind him that if he cuts Cole's hair, I will make his life miserable.

I picked Cole up from Jonna's and shortly after, got a "heads up" call from Rachele. Here's what I found. Nothing says bad ass like a boy with tats in Pampers. How did I have such a cool kid?

Saint B's Italian Dinner 2009

We've gone to the St Bernadette's Italian dinner for the past few years. I don't remember if I got any pics from last year or not. But got some this year...

Here is the badass low rider trike that I was sure I was going to get in the auction. The only problem is - Steve said I could NOT bid for the bike. I promised him I would not bid over $40. Apparently, I really thought I would get this bike for $40. Other problem - the bidding started at $50. It just wasn't meant to be I guess. :)

I'm posting this blog from our new laptop! YEAH YEAH YEAH! Unfortunately, I really am wanting to watch today's Ellen episode that I DVR'd so all the latest pictures won't be up until later this week. But...at least you have something to look forward to. And by not telling you what day I post stuff, you'll be pleasantly surprised one morning, eh? Hasta!

Bummer

A little over a week ago, our laptop died. Unfortunately, it's sounding like we're going to need to get a new one at this point. So I am not able to upload any pictures at this point and probably won't for a couple of weeks. I will do my best to see some crazy shit in Seattle so I have some fun stories - but it's not looking good (Spring time is when all the fun stuff seems to start happening).

So my dear friends in blog land, you won't be seeing many updates from me for a while. But I promise to take lots of pictures between now and when we get a new laptop so that I have tons of posts for your viewing pleasure. Because I know you all secretly await my posts......you do, right? :)
